I ordered some paper from "PapertrerInk.com" and this is what I made out of one of the pages. I used a 1 inches circle punch and glue dots. I think they came out pretty cute.

I made this paper bow long time ago and I thought I would share it. Let me know if you have any questions or if it is confusing.

Starting with a 6 x 12 piece of paper/cardstock (use a scrap piece first as a test)

1. cut 8 - 1x6 strips
2. turn paper and cut 1 - 1x1 strip (this is for your center)
3. turn paper and cut 4 - 1x1 strips

1. take your group of 8 and make 2 - 4 strip groups....(if it is double sided paper) flip one stack so you will have a contrast in color. Take a 1/16 hole punch and punch a hole (for a brad later on) at one end of all strips. Hold the bottom of one strip with one hand...take the other hand, grab the top of that strip and bring it down making the point (or loop) of the bow. Using a small piece of tape to hold it in place....do this to all 8 pieces. Once all are done secure with a small brad.

2. Do the same thing with the 4 - 1x1 groups and secure with a brad.

3. Once all groups are done, using a glue dot make your layers. Off step them to add dimension. Take your 1x1 strip, bring it together like a circle and tape it. Then fasten it in the center with a glue dot.

4. Put a glue dot on the bottom but leave the plastic pieces on it for storage reasons...that way when you want to use it later you already have an adhesive on the bottom.

I sure hope this makes since. Try it a few time and see what you come up with. AND This is a great "make ahead" items too.

I made a few of these "Thank You" cards from the "Latte" paper pack. This is another paper pack that was an on line purchase that I really do not like. hahahahah I know, I know...why do I have it. Crazy me! SO....I wanted to use it since I have it and I though about a pack of cards. "Thank You" cards are always good to have so why not!

This card was made from the "Mediterranean" Paper pack. I am not sure if I like any of the papers in this pack....hahahahahah...then why do I have it right. It was an online purchase...hahahahahah. SO....I though I would use it anyway. I tore a few pages out of this pack and made a card with it by the seat of my pants. I guess I was trying to challenge my own self. :) To be honest I am not sure if I even like the card but it is kind of growing on me. Crazy post I know.

I GOT A NEW TOY!!!!!!!!!!! I have only used it about 3 time today and I LOVE IT!!! By far super easy to use. The gun was a little pricey (used a coupon from Joann.com) but the roll of tape was not. (Ebay = $4.00 for 2 rolls of 60ft. each) So far, very smart move on my part.

This is my very first mini. I made it for my nieces so she could write down things that mean a lot to her. I was not sure what I was doing but I still had fun anyway. I just hope she likes it. We will see.

So for 4th of July Azland was having a hard time. Not sure what was wrong but he did not want to go any where or do anything....so....we just played in our back yard. I guess nothing is wrong with that. I did take him to a fair but we only stayed about 30 minutes. He was scared the whole time and running away so it was time to leave.

I was super excited to go to my second crop and I, of course, wanted to make a page about it.

So my son started having sever tantrums and I am amazed every time. I wanted to make a page for the pictures of the marks he left on himself from the last one he had. I know this probably sounds crazy but this is something that I want him to see when he gets older. Not to mention I need to keep a record in case they get even more crazy....and this is a fun way of doing it.

Azland has never let us put his head in the water. One hot day, I left him to play in the tub....with the door open of course. A few minutes later, I came back and this is how I found him. He had one ear under water and the other one out. He was make noise and listening to his voice under water. He had the biggest smile on his face. I could not help but to take these pictures. This is a huge step for him and I wanted to remember it.

I wanted to make a page cause my little man FINALLY played on the big kids play ground. AND He swung on a big kids swing for the first time. He only swung about 3 time and said with a SERIOUS tone "all done!" It was too cute. BUT he did it.

I cut the slide and swings out of "My Community" cricut cartridge. I pop them up and made the swings look like they are in motion....well as best as I could I guess. I also ran them through my cuttle bug with the diamond plate texture folder. I love how they came out.

I wanted this page to be a BOY page, of course, but I also did not want it all plain colors. I love the way the red POPS. I stamped the background and inked all the edges. I actually messed up the ink on the sandcastle but I think I still pulled it off pretty good.

I made this a while back but for some reason I didn't post it. I made the flower, stamped the background, inked the words (which are premade), glittered and inked the flower, and glittered the words too. I have to say I am super proud of myself for the flower. This is one of my favorites and I love it.
I have a 12 photo picture frame I am trying to fill with my creations. Some of the frames are shadow box types and some are flat. So...this one is my first shadow box one.

I cut all the images out of the "Create a Critter" Cricut cartridge....yes lately I have been loving this cartridge. :) The card measures 7 1/2 x 5 1/2. I had so much fun making it. I even added a little bling to the girls flower. I also curled the grass and added dimensionals to the birds and the phrase for extra depth.

I love this card. It came out too cute. I think it could be used as a little boys birthday card. It measures 5 1/2 x 4 1/4.

MY FIRST SCRAP CHALLENGE!!! This challenge is for "scrapbooksetc.com" and the challenge is to create a page using punches in a creative way. I tried to use punches on everything I put on the page and I think it works. I did use up a lot of scraps this way too. Once the challenges ends they will pick a winner to be in an issue in their magazine....COOL!
