So my hubby is in Afghan and just hit his halfway mark to come home. WHOOT WHOOT I thought I would make a sexy kinda card to send to him. I cut her out of the "Summer in Paris" cartridge I got from Ebay for $13.00 with free shipping. :)

I found 3 of these frames at the thrift store for $1.00 each. :) So...I thought I would use one for a decor in my scrap room. I made the "S" out of buttons and attached them with glue dots. I also inked the edges for added interest.

My son LOVES "Thomas the Train." SO...I took him to see Thomas in real life. Well...he was terrified the entire time. I did manage to get a few good pictures though. Even though he did not care for it I am still glad we went. He did get his face painted for the first time. He had to look in a mirror though so he could see what was going on. Then he started making faces at him self. It was too cute.

I took my son to "Lego Land" and we had a blast. This picture was taken shortly before we left. He looks soooo tired. About 45 minutes after this picture he was fast sleep.

This a little card I made for my mom's birthday. She is 51 this year and I wanted her to know I still think she if FABULOUS!. It's nothing fancy I just hope it will make her smile.

My son is autistic and has never called me anything especially MOM. Well, he finally did and I just had to make a page just for that. I was so tickled.....still am really. It only took him almost 4 years but hey who's counting. :)

I wanted to use some of my stuff. I didn't really have any pictures in mind when I made this I just wanted to have fun. The tag and the arrow both swivel on a brad. There is a ton of space for writing or extra pics.

These are some altered coffee jars that I could NOT trash. They are nice and big and have a plastic coating around the lid for easy opening. So...I thought I would keep them and just jazz them up a little. I am going to re-do the circles though....these were just a rough draft to see if I like them...and I do not. :) ALSO, this is a perfect way to use your scraps...these are all scraps.

I made this birthday card from "Sweet Treats" paper pack. I love the glitter in the cake. I used a double layer of pop dots to give the cake some serious lift. I also added a little bling to it for an extra girly feel. I inked around the edges with Tim Holtz "spun sugar" distress ink. I did not want to do much extra to it because I just LOVE this paper.

So this is my first attempt at jewelry making. I put a prima flower, jewel in the center, and covered it with glossy accent....I had that on hand. I think I will cover all the silver next time. The parts I left silver are not clear...it has a little bit of a yellow tint to it. BUT I still like it. I am going to have to do more in the near future.

I made almost everything here. The only thing I did not make are the words....and of course the pics. I stamped, inked, and glittered the background. Made the rose, inked and glittered it also. Inked around all the edges I could find. I think it came out so cute. I love it so much.

I am try to make my own flowers. These are the ones I have made thus far. Still a ways to go but I am loving it.
