My 1st iron on

Hey Yall,

I really want a scrapbooking t-shirt but I don't want to pay $22 for it.
So...I thought I would TRY to make one myself.
Michael's has t-shirts on sale this week for 2 for $6.00.
Then I went to Walmart and bought 1 yard "Heat N Bond" and 1/2 yard white cotton material total was $3.00.

I pulled the "scissor" image from the Silhouette software design #18701 designed by "Totally Jamie Illustrations and Designs"

I also pulled the "Scrap A Holic" phrase from the Silhouette software design #4773 designed by "Loni Harris"

Now I have a scrapbook shirt for $6.00 instead of $22.00
Smiles all around!!!!

I rewashed the material and the t-shirt before using the iron on. I love the way it came out. I hope it stays on. LOL

I added the little clouds with extra dimension and a little stickles for some sparkle.
I also popped the hive and clouds up on pop dots for some texture.

The background paper, "hello" and washi tape are all from SN@P simple stories collection.

I created the background with a "chicken wire" mask and "Taxi" Mister Huey's

3D time

Hey Yall,

As soon as I saw this cute hot air balloon I had to buy it from the Silhouette store.
I made it as large as I could with 3 layers on a page and there are a total of 6 layers...or I guess it really is sides.  Which ever way you look at it there are 6 parts lol

The papers are a light green and a mint color.
I embossed them with dots and hexagons.

I added a ribbon at the top to hang it by.

I love how it turned out.
My son said he wants it so I guess that's that! lol

**I entered this cute balloon in the Silhouette shapes challenge over at the Silhouette Blog**

LO using the stencil I made

Hey Yall,

I wanted to show Yall how I incorporated the stencil I made into my layout.
*look at the next post to see how I made it*

(The picture is too funny...He wouldn't let me work out unless he was too LOL)
The strips of papers are from my scraps, "Amy Tan" & "MME"
The arrows are from the Silhouette by Kolette Hall "7 thin arrows"
I am seriously loving the stencil ;)
I added some washi tape and pulled out my label maker for the title

This is how I put the little white clouds on the page.  I painted them with Gesso. ;)

I added this layout to http://www.silhouettechallenges.com/ challenge "Anything Goes"
Yall hope over and check it out!

Thanks for stopping my Yall!!

Homemade Stencil

Hey Yall,

I wanted to share how I made my own stencil.
I cut these two background out of the Silhouette at 4x5....which is the way they come....I didn't change the size.
I added SEVERAL layers of Mod Podge...front and back.
The Mod Podge allows them to have a TINY bit of durability and at the same time you can ink them and not destroy them...as quick at least lol

I had an insert to a filling cabinet laying around (who knew) and got 4 paper clips for hangers.  It worked out GREAT!!!

Here is how it worked out.  I must say I'm pretty happy with it but I would like it a little stronger.

I can't wait to play with this background.
I can see many more being made!!!

Thanks for stopping by Yall!

U & Me layout

Hey Yall,

I printed this photo from my printer like I do all my photos but I guess my ink is running out so this one is a little faded.  BUT like any scrapper I used it anyway :)

I normally don't use pink in any of my layouts but this was a perfect time to pull it out!

Receipt:
Background Paper - DCWV "Playtime" stack
All other papers - MME "Dolled Up"
Stars - paper punch
Alphabets - Thickers
Circle Embellishment - Simple Stories "SN@P "
Mister Huey's "PinStripe"

I had to drop the Mister Huey's ink a few time cause the paper was soaking it up too fast. LOL but it worked out in the end.

Thanks for stopping by Yall!

Teachers gift

Hey Yall,
This week is Teachers Appreciation week here in these parts. :)  SO, I decided to make my sons' teachers, 2 of them, a little gift rather than a card.  I chose not to put their names on the cups cause I didn't know which color they would want.  Better be safe than sorry lol

I filled each cup with strips of paper to use as filler.

I sure hope they like it!
