3 babies....2 layouts...1 camera

Hey Yall,

***Come back tomorrow for some exciting news***
Here are a few layouts I have been working on.
Seems as though a mommy bird had a few babies under our back oh man do NOT get in her way when she is going after food....she flies RIGHT past your head. lol

It is pretty cool to see he take care of the babies though....even though its just a bird! ;)
I added these layouts to "Anything Goes" challenge!
Yall hope over and join the fun!

LO using the stencil I made

Hey Yall,

I wanted to show Yall how I incorporated the stencil I made into my layout.
*look at the next post to see how I made it*
(The picture is too funny...He wouldn't let me work out unless he was too LOL)
The strips of papers are from my scraps, "Amy Tan" & "MME"
The arrows are from the Silhouette by Kolette Hall "7 thin arrows"
I am seriously loving the stencil ;)
I added some washi tape and pulled out my label maker for the title
This is how I put the little white clouds on the page.  I painted them with Gesso. ;)
I added this layout to challenge "Anything Goes"
Yall hope over and check it out!
Thanks for stopping my Yall!!

Homemade Stencil

Hey Yall,

I wanted to share how I made my own stencil.
I cut these two background out of the Silhouette at 4x5....which is the way they come....I didn't change the size.
I added SEVERAL layers of Mod Podge...front and back.
The Mod Podge allows them to have a TINY bit of durability and at the same time you can ink them and not destroy quick at least lol
I had an insert to a filling cabinet laying around (who knew) and got 4 paper clips for hangers.  It worked out GREAT!!!
Here is how it worked out.  I must say I'm pretty happy with it but I would like it a little stronger.
I can't wait to play with this background.
I can see many more being made!!!

A haul and a giveaway ;)

Hey Yall,

I usually don't do a haul post but since I found a giveaway at the same time I thought I would go for it!  I went to Michael's today and used their 25% off entire purchase coupon...because I don't want it to go to waste of course ;)
I am loving these Tickers.  I have been having my eye on them for a while.  They were 40% off plus the 25% off the entire purchase :)
How cute are those little chipboard glasses.  Snagged those are the dollar spot.  OOOOO Yeah!!!
How about one lucky follower snagging this cute 7gypsies stamp set.

U & Me layout

Hey Yall,

I printed this photo from my printer like I do all my photos but I guess my ink is running out so this one is a little faded.  BUT like any scrapper I used it anyway :)

I normally don't use pink in any of my layouts but this was a perfect time to pull it out!
Background Paper - DCWV "Playtime" stack
All other papers - MME "Dolled Up"
Stars - paper punch
Alphabets - Thickers
Circle Embellishment - Simple Stories "SN@P "
Mister Huey's "PinStripe"
I had to drop the Mister Huey's ink a few time cause the paper was soaking it up too fast. LOL but it worked out in the end.
Thanks for stopping by Yall!

Teachers gift

Hey Yall,
This week is Teachers Appreciation week here in these parts. :)  SO, I decided to make my sons' teachers, 2 of them, a little gift rather than a card.  I chose not to put their names on the cups cause I didn't know which color they would want.  Better be safe than sorry lol

I filled each cup with strips of paper to use as filler.

I sure hope they like it!

Neon Washi....LOVE

Hey Yall,

I am seriously loving my Cameo! It is amazing....more and more everyday.
I went on a cutting spree the other day...just having fun :)  I love to do this cause it allows me to work on several projects with out having to cut something out every time.  Its like creating your own die cut store in your own house lol....or at least that's how I like to play it!  LOL
Started out with some awesome neon was calling my name....added it to some kraft colored paper.  I love love love how the Kraft makes the colors POP even more.
AWESOME Neon!!!!
The blue sentiment was cut from the Silhouette at 3 inches, designer Lori Whitlock.
The blue arrows were also cute from the Silhouette, designer Silhouette.
The other embellishments are from SN@P, Simple Stories.
I really love how it turned out....our first beach day of the year!!!!
I really hope Yall are having a fabulous day!

Entered in anything goes!!
