"In the Moment" tag
I was cleaning my craft room and came across some cut out I had left over from projects. SO....I though I would put them to good use.
This also gave me a chance to use my glimmer mists which have been neglected. I put the "XYZ" because my mind is going crafty crazy...seriously. I usually have about 5-7 projects going at one time cause I just stop thinking about all kinds of stuff.

Rock Star
I got a new stamps set and could not wait to try it out. (of course) By Fiskars "Rockpile, Ink by Steph" and I just love them. The set has a "rocker / surfer" twist to them.
Pretty cool huh. All the stamps are not just for rockers.. but really for many occasions. I love the fish!
The pink paper is from K&Company "Greenhouse". I just love those papers...so colorful and funky. I used versmark on the backround with the same star stamp. Used some eyelets and pop dots and there you have it.
So fun and for any age too. I think I am going to use those fish next. Stay tunned!

My sons' bedroom
I am trying to add some trains to my sons' wall.....he was SUPER excited about it.
I used "Circus" for the train and "Everyday Paper Dolls" for the clouds using the "real dial size" button. I can't wait till it is finished it is going to look so cool.

REusing cricut vinyl containers
I want to have people over for "tick or treating" on Halloween so I am making decorations now. (little by little ya know) I took an empty Cricut vinyl container and covered it with paper. Added some felt spiders, a web, and doddled with a white jelly roll pen. I am going to fill it with candy for my guest.
I am going to make a few more and I am even thinking about doing the same for Christmas. That way there will always be snack for people to munch on. AND I only cost me a few pennies!!!! WHOOT WHOOT

** The scalloped circle is 4 1/4 and I used "Classic Scalloped Circles" Spellbinders AND I embossed it with Sizzix "Tween Tile" texture plate

Picture frame art
I made this for decor in my bedroom. I used a Martha Stuart butterfly punch. AND I bought this shadow box picture frame from the thrift store last year for $1.00.
I have not decided if I like the butterfly in the top left corner or not....I am thinking I might take that one off. Any way this is a great and cheap way to add decor to any space.

Birthday Banner Time
My little mans 5th birthday is in September and I am already geared up! I am making his birthday banner and party favors. I wanted to have a "Chuggingtons" trains birthday party but the decorations are very hard to come by.....and pretty pricey. SO....since the colors are basic I though I would try it myself.
I wanted some dimention on them so I added a double layer or foam tape and I think that did the trick.
Here is how I did it......
* The triangles are from "Give a Hoot" cricut cartridge, p. 43 on "Accent" (no shift)
Large white triangle = 8 inches
Small blue triangle = 5 1/2 inches
* The red boarder is 1 3/4 tall and I cut off the extra on each side. I used a boarder punch to add some extra-ness....LOL...is that a word? I also ran it through my bigshot with the Sizzix "Tween Dots" texture plate. (make sure you punch your holes BEFORE you add the adhesive)
* The letters are from "Robtz" cricut cartridge cut at 2 1/4 inch and the "th" on the 5 is 1 1/4 inch. I also ran the letters through my cuttlebug using the "Spots and Dots" embossing folder.
* I stamped the background of the large white triangle with a single stamp from "Inkadinkad -Cirlce and Dots" set.
* AND last but never least I added some doodling with my white jelly roll pen.....OF COURSE! ;) and inked all the edges with Tim Holtz, black soot ink.
The banner is going to say "Happy 5th Birthday" so that is 14 triangles total. I had to order more blue paper so when that comes in I will so yall the finished product. Lets hope he likes it.

Teachers gift set
Since school is about to start....WHOOT WHOOT.....I though I would make a gift for my son's teacher. The card is one I have already showed but I added a post-it purse to go with it.
What a super cute gift bag this is going to make. My son has 3 teachers so still 2 more to go. I think I will make them all different. Stay tuned to see the others!

Cricut Cardz Challenge #83
The challenge is to make a card for a grandparents birthday using any color or cartridge you would like. I think this one came out simply and cute. However I did not use a cartridge on this one. I used nestabilities "blossom" and created my own flower.
I used an IRock to add some bling and a white jelly roll pen to doodle it up. I also sprayed the flower with blue glimmer mist for even more sparkle. This card is sure to make a grandparent smile.

My Pink Stamper Design Team Call.....
It is time again for a "My Pink Stampers" design team call. To enter you have to make something using any cricut cartridge and the colors; orange, brown, green, and turquoise. Here is what I created......
The card measures 7 3/4 x 6. I used "Life is a Beach" cricut cartridge.
Receipt;
* Sun = 1 1/2 (p.44) and stamped with Peachy Keen "Everyday Character Face Assortment" stamps
* Wave = 2 inches on "boarder" (p.45)
* Dolphin = 2 3/4 (p.71)
* Palm Tree = 3 1/2 (p.40)
All items are inked with Tim Holtz ink and raised for added interest. I used a white "Jelly Roll" pen to add some sticking and doodling. The letters are puffed up and I bought them from the dollar spot from Target....SCORE!
Well Yall I hope yall like it and wish me luck!

An Apple A Day
I made this card from the K & Company "Greenhouse" paper pack. I really like the papers cause they are all so funky and bright colored.
I added bakers twine under the "thank you" part of the card. I really really like bakers twine...it always adds that little extra something.

Boys will be Boys
I made the back ground of this card with the "Diamond Plate" cuttle bug embossing folder and them rubbed it with Tim Holtz ink. I love the effect it gives to a plain background.
The paper is from "The Guy" pack from DCWV. I love this pack cause there are so many things you can make with it. I made ticket corners with my oval punch and inked around all the edges.
