"GO!" layout

Here is a layout I made about my sons' school field trip to Chuck E Cheese.  Last year he went but we had to leave about an hour into it because he was super over stimulated. (Autism)  This year, on the other hand, was sooo much better and we both had a fabulous time. 

 

 

Everything I used came from the October Afternoon "Road Map" collection

 

 

Added some layering and doodles with a brown pen

 

 

I also added a brown bag for under the photos just because lol ;)

"My Gamer Boy" LO

Hey Yall,

My son is a computer and gamer wizzzzz. He loves electronics and can pretty much figure it out before you can teach him.  (lets hope that pays off in the future) :)  I'm sure those who have kids (men included lol) know what I mean.  Sooooo as a crafter I HAD (totally forced) to make a layout with this picture...that he didn't even know I took! lol

Thanksgiving card

Hey Yall,

So this is still part of my "catch up post"...not sure how many there will be but Yall get the point. lol

This is a cute A2 size card (4 1/4 x 5 1/2) I just made a fold in the cover. 

 

 

I used Kraft card stock with a matching envelope.  The pattern papers are from Recollections the "Charming" stack.

 

The sentiment inside is from CTMH "Say it in Style" and the "Thankful" is from Inkadinkado "Thanks for Everything" stamp set.

 

The turkey is a QuicKutz die called "Turkey" lol

I also inked with Tim Holtz "Brushed Corduroy" distress ink.

Playing catch up after computer issues

Hey Yall,

Here are two projects I made while my computer was sick.  I made these for the "Lily Bee Designs" DT call.  I love love love some lilybee!   I hope you like them!!!

 

 I put the photo in this one after I took the picture.  Some stuff I want to keep private! :)

 

 I added some washi tape to this one.  My fav right now! :)

 

No I didnt make it but I sure had some super good fun trying!

Had computer issues but all better now!!

Hello Yall!!!!

WOW, its been a little while.  I had to put my computer in the hospital but now its all better and I'm ready to go.  :)

Here are the pictures of my goodies I made in September for my son's 6th birthday.  Man, time go toooo fast.

 I found these pictures on the computer.  I blew them up and tapes them to the front of cotton candy containers. 

 I also found this picture on the computer but photo shopped the words on them.  So cute and funny!

 A friend of mine made his cake.  LOL  Tooooo cute and he LOVED it!

My friend also made the cupcakes to look like grass with M&Ms on them as the eggs.  I made the toppers from pictures off the computer. 

Everyone had a blast and Azland (my son) LOVED all the Angry Bird decorations.  We had to leave them up for a few days after. lol

I hope everyone is doing well and those who have been effected by Hurricane Sandy my heart is with Yall!  (seems like Hurricane Sandy was similar to Hurricane Katrina which I went through....ugh...stay strong Yall)

WOW time flies

Hey Yall,

WOW I have been so busy with my little mans 6th birthday party I have not been on the computer at all. (only in my art room to make decorations and nothing else...booooo)  I am on vacation this week :) (son is with his dad for the week...only happens twice a year so its a big thing for me)  When I return I have some cute pictures to show Yall of my sons party.  WOW we all had a blast!

What I have been up to....

Hey Yall,

WOWZA its been a little while since I have post anything. (I will have to change that :) )  I have been playing catch up after being out a week due to Hurricane Isaac.  Everything is okie dokie around these parts but the flooding was an issue.  School was out that whole week due to flooding more than damages.  BUT none of us had any real damages so we are lucky.

Here are a few layouts I have been working on this past week.  I am not posting the details cause my time is going to be short right now but if Yall have any questions please ask and I will gladly get back to Yall.

 My son is so goofy some times....totally a picture moment.  I created the background with Mister Huey's color misters.

My boyfriends dog during the hurricane.  He was sitting on my couch. lol too funny
***He also past away last week.  He will be missed by so many and he was loved by all.***

 My son finally started playing with Play-Doh.  He never liked the feel of it before.  Therapy is working!!!

My and my boyfriend....I love this picture.  I was just having fun with some of my scraps and this is what I came up with.
